Conventional vs. Precision Attached Partial Dentures
Partial dentures are removable false teeth used when a person is missing several,
but not all, of his or her teeth. We will custom-create them in our dental lab,
to match the size, shape and color of your existing teeth, so nobody should be
able to detect that you are wearing them.
2 ways to
place them in your mouth
- Conventionally
Attached Dentures
The partial dentures are
attached to the surrounding teeth with metal clasps. These clasps can be unsightly
and create discomfort.
- Precision
Attached Dentures
This is the newer method
of attaching partial dentures, which uses hidden connectors. These connectors
can be attached to dental implants or neighboring natural teeth, and are smaller
than the traditional metal framework. Sometimes they have to be attached to crowns
on the neighboring teeth. They result in a much more natural and beautiful smile.
Partial
dentures are an excellent way to ensure on-going
good dental health if you are missing several teeth. Gaps in your smile can lead
to many problems and the eventual misalignment of surrounding teeth. So if you
have missing teeth, please call or email us today.
